Alexis Amanda Matthews (maiden name: Joice) (born July 28, 1990),[1] [2] known as Lexus Amanda is an American singer and songwriter. She is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rock band duo Blacklisted Me.[3]Alexis has cited many musical influences including 30 Seconds to Mars, The Used, Marilyn Manson, Utada Hikaru, and Alkaline Trio.[4][5][6]Blacklisted Me was originally known as White WidoW, but due to conflict with another band, the name was changed. She has described Blacklisted Me to be her “alter ego”. Alexis is well known on the internet for producing many controversial statements and actions.[7][8][9]

Alexis first attempted to make her way into the music business with her band Rose Red. She was accompanied by Scout Taylor Compton, but really never made much progress. [10][11]

She first made it into the music business when she created White WidoW with actress Tracey Fairaway in February 2011. They released a preview of the song “Where There Is Ice In Hell”, but due to the departure of Tracey the song was never released.[12][13]

Alexis made her first full length song “Reprobate Romance” in 2011 with vocals from Samie Jayden and Nick Matthews.[14][15][16]
